The following three SIGs are inactive while we are on COVID precautions, but will resume when in-person classes and activities resume.
OLLI Garden Friends
For OLLI members who enjoy gardening, this SIG includes visits to members' gardens and gardening events, sharing ideas, resources and seeds, swapping plants and otherwise exploring all things associated with growing things. Meeting May through September, the group leader is Donna Frost, email@example.com, (603) 648-2386. Look for information in OLLI Outlook.
Concord Piecemakers Quilting Group
Members with a love of quilting and camaraderie will find both in ample supply in the Piecemakers Quilting Group. These avid quilters (who will welcome members who are new to quilting as well!) meet on the second and fourth Thursday of every month at Granite State College from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. In addition to working on special projects of their own, this group enjoys field trips to quilting shows. If you have an interest in the quilting SIG, please contact Marilyn Astell at firstname.lastname@example.org.
OLLI Concord Area Hiking
Hiking is back, subject to COVID masking and social distancing requirements.
OLLI members who love to hike will enjoy the opportunity to hike various trails around Concord. The group will generally hike once a month on a Saturday at a location selected by the members of the group at the end of each hike. The group is looking for a new leader to coordinate and communicate the monthly hikes. Contact Ray Mercier if you are interested at
