The Atlantic Grill in Rye was the scene of the 2018-2019 Seacoast Volunteer Recognition Bruch. Approximately 38 volunteers attended out of over 100 volunteers from the Seacoast. Presenters, class assistants, committee members, bakers, greeters, occasional volunteers all mixed with lively conversations discussing our volunteer experiences with OLLI. Granite State College was represented at the brunch as well by Lisa Shawney and Bette Papa. OLLI’s Steering Committee Chair, Sharon Kace, attended as well.
OLLI could not exist without volunteers. There are many positions available from an occasional need to a monthly commitment to attending committee meetings. There are even a number of jobs that have been dubbed “bunny slipper” jobs that can be done in the comfort of your home. Consider volunteering during the upcoming Fall term - you won’t regret it!
